Week Four Wrap up!

What a fun week we had at Gan Chaya!! This wee was Shabbat week, we discussed how Hashem created the world in six days and on the seventh He rested. That's why every week, on the seventh day we rest too. We used all the supplies we need for shabbat in our classroom. We painted with grape juice and candles, we counted and braided challah, poured gra[ejuice into a kiddush cup and lots more! We also made our very own challah boards and covers. 

In the afternoon this week we made pickles, jumped on a moon bounce, exploded bags and lots of other fun experiments!

Farm Day!

Gan Chaya transformed into a farm this past Wednesday! Instead of children walking in, there were farmers welcoming us in the morning! We went straight outside to play with our very own petting zoo! We took such great care of the animals by feeding them vegetables and brushing their fur. 

Week Three Wrap Up!

There has been so much happening this week in Gan Chaya. Up town downtown all around the town its kosher all day long... We started off our week talking about animals and how we can tell if an animal is kosher. We learned all about eating kosher, and keeping a kosher kitchen. We practiced  separating all of our milk and meat food products and dishes, we even decorated aprons to use in our own kosher kitchens! Water play this week held many surprises. We washed our milk and meat dishes making sure to keep the separate, and then we washed all of our cars! On the ground we colored with chalk. We started off with the regular chalk, and then we had frozen chalk to experiment with as well. We are so excited for monday to see what next week has in store!
